BUSN 101 — Introduction to Business(3 cr.)

Surveys the major functional areas of business, including management, marketing, finance, and operations. Students examine how organizations create value within competitive and ethical contexts. Guest speakers from regional businesses illustrate course concepts.

BUSN 205 — Principles of Management(3 cr.)

Introduces the theory and practice of managing people and organizations. Topics include planning, organizing, leading, and controlling within diverse organizational contexts. Case studies and team exercises develop practical management skills.

BUSN 210 — Principles of Marketing(3 cr.)

Requires student teams to manage a simulated company competing against classmates over multiple business cycles.
