Help — About SU-SIS Self-ServiceSU-SIS is Southgate University’s in-house student information system, in service since 2004. The Self-Service module provides public access to the class schedule and course catalog. It is maintained by Information Technology Services. Searching the Class ScheduleReading the ResultsCap is the section seat capacity, Act the actual enrollment at the last nightly refresh, and Rem the remaining seats. A negative Rem indicates an approved over-enrollment. Cmp is the campus code (MAIN, DTWN downtown, ONLN online) and PT the part of term (1 full / A first half / B second half). Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy can’t I register here? Registration requires a myGate login and is limited to admitted students. Self-Service is a public, read-only view. Why do seat counts differ from myGate? Self-Service data is extracted nightly at approximately 2:30 a.m.; myGate reads live records. A course is in the catalog but never in the schedule. Departments schedule catalog courses as staffing allows; contact the department for offering plans. SU-SIS Self-Service release 2.8.1 (build 4022, 22-MAR-2011). Known issue SIS-1289: the printer-friendly stylesheet is not applied under some browsers. For assistance contact the ITS Help Desk, (937) 555-4357. |
