FREN 101 — Elementary French I(4 cr.)

Introduces basic French grammar, vocabulary, and conversation for students with no prior background. Emphasis on developing listening and speaking skills through communicative activities.

FREN 102 — Elementary French II(4 cr.)

Continues the development of foundational French language skills with expanded grammar and vocabulary. Includes short readings and guided conversation practice.

FREN 201 — Intermediate French I(3 cr.)

Reviews and extends grammatical structures while introducing authentic readings and cultural material. Class is conducted primarily in French.
