Southgate University is committed to making its web presence accessible to all users, consistent with WCAG 2.1 AA. The main website was rebuilt in 2022 with accessibility as a requirement of the redesign contract.

Known Limitations

The SU-SIS Self-Service system (class schedule search and course catalog browse) is a legacy system dating to 2004 and predates current standards: it uses table-based layout and has limited screen-reader labeling. A replacement student information system is in the university's five-year IT plan. Users who have difficulty obtaining schedule information from SU-SIS may contact the Office of the Registrar at (937) 555-2310 for assistance, or request schedule data in an alternate format.
