Emergency Information
In an emergency, dial 911, then Campus Safety at (937) 555-2911. Campus Safety officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from the Gatehouse at Lot A.
SU Alert
SU Alert sends emergency notifications by text, email, and the sirens on Whitford Hall and the Griffin Athletic Center. Students, faculty, and staff are enrolled automatically; family members may subscribe through myGate. A test is conducted the first Wednesday of each semester.
Weather Closings
Closing decisions are announced by 6:00 a.m. via SU Alert, the university homepage banner, and Dayton-area radio and television.
