Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry provides rigorous training in the discipline's core areas while emphasizing hands-on laboratory experience from the first semester onward. Students have access to modern instrumentation, including NMR and mass spectrometry, and many complete faculty-mentored research culminating in a capstone thesis. The curriculum meets American Chemical Society guidelines for a certified degree.
