Department of Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science offers a rigorous curriculum spanning software development, systems, theory, and artificial intelligence, grounded in substantial hands-on programming from the first course onward. Students collaborate with faculty on funded research in machine learning, security, and human-computer interaction, and many complete industry internships before graduating. A combined BS/MS pathway allows strong students to earn a master's degree in as little as one additional year.
