Department of Economics
The Department of Economics teaches students to analyze markets, policy, and human behavior using rigorous theoretical and quantitative tools. A strong emphasis on applied econometrics prepares graduates for data-driven careers in finance, consulting, government, and further graduate study. Many majors complete a senior thesis using original data analysis under close faculty supervision.
