Department of Geology
The Geology program offers rigorous training in earth science through classroom study, laboratory analysis, and extensive fieldwork. Students investigate the processes that shape the planet, from mineral formation to plate tectonics, using the region's varied geological formations as a living laboratory. The program prepares graduates for careers in environmental consulting, resource management, and graduate study.
