Department of Philosophy
The Philosophy Department cultivates rigorous critical thinking through the study of enduring questions in ethics, logic, and metaphysics alongside contemporary applications. Small discussion-based classes encourage students to develop and defend well-reasoned positions on complex issues. The major provides strong preparation for law, graduate study, and careers requiring analytical rigor.
