Department of Religious Studies

The Department of Religious Studies examines the beliefs, practices, and texts of the world's religious traditions from historical, cultural, and comparative perspectives. Faculty expertise spans Western and Eastern traditions, allowing students to pursue focused study within a flexible major or minor. Coursework emphasizes critical engagement with primary texts and contemporary religious life.
