Department of Chinese

The Chinese program develops proficiency in Mandarin language alongside deep engagement with Chinese literature, history, and contemporary society. Small, communicative classes are complemented by a summer immersion partnership with a university in Taiwan. Students regularly pursue the minor alongside majors in business, international studies, or the sciences.
