Department of Dance
The Dance program trains versatile, expressive performers and choreographers through rigorous technique classes in ballet, modern, and jazz idioms alongside coursework in dance history and composition. Students present original choreography each semester and take part in a fully produced senior concert in the university's black-box theater. The program regularly collaborates with the Department of Communication Studies and Studio Art on interdisciplinary performance projects.

Course descriptions for all DANC offerings are in the university catalog; scheduled sections for each term are published in SU‑SIS. This department has 16 class sections scheduled for Fall 2026.
