Department of Music
The Department of Music offers degrees in performance, music education, and general music studies within a vibrant community of ensembles, recitals, and studio instruction. Students benefit from individualized applied lessons alongside rigorous training in theory, history, and conducting. Southgate's choral, instrumental, and chamber ensembles perform regularly on campus and in the region.
