Department of Spanish

The Spanish program develops proficiency in language, literature, and culture through a sequence that moves from foundational grammar to advanced literary and cultural analysis. Study abroad opportunities in Spain and Latin America allow students to deepen their language skills through immersion. The program supports careers in education, international business, diplomacy, and translation.
